Solo travelers who love noodles can rejoice! Due to high demand and sheer love of pasta, We have added the Oodles of Noodles option to our (now) four-strong list of weekly tours that are open to the public!
While the majority of UnTour Shanghai’s tours are private tours designed for groups of up to six people, many of our guests are here alone on business or traveling by themselves and want to join up with other travelers for a discounted rate. We currently offer our Street Eats-Breakfast.
Now we’re adding the weekly Oodles of Noodles tour, which will run every Monday at 2pm. The tour costs RMB 350 per person (or free for foodies under the age of 12) and lasts about three hours.
A foodie’s dream, this Oodles of Noodles UnTour shows you Shanghai’s culinary underworld of noodle joints that have a cult-like following. Each stop showcases the city’s best mom and pop noodle shops – from homemade wheat noodles smothered in a delicious sesame sauce to knife-cut noodles in a simmered beef broth. Watch freshly made noodles pulled out of a lump of dough and sample the best pasta this side of Italy. Trust us, you’ve never tasted anything like this before!
