Who Is the Jianbing Cook-Off Charity Raffle Supporting?
Proceeds of the Charity Raffle at the Jianbing Cook-Off will go to Shanghai Young Bakers!
Shanghai Young Bakers is a charity program providing a high-quality training in French bakery and pastry making to marginalised Chinese youths aged 17-23, thus enabling them to find stable, qualified jobs and lead independent lives. Shanghai Young Bakers sponsors around 30 students every year. The training lasts one year (from August to July) and includes French bakery & pastry making, English lessons, and a part-time internship at 4 or 5 star international hotels.
Do I Have to Be Present to Win?
Nope! But you do have to fill out your contact details clearly on the raffle ticket so we can contact you in case you’ve already eaten your fill of jianbing and voted for the people’s choice winner.
What Prizes Can I Win?
We have prizes from the following amazing companies (see below), including vouchers for some of Shanghai’s best restaurants, bars, designers, gyms, and hotels. We want to take a moment to thank Linfeng Li Photography for donating our grand prize: a Three-Hour Storytelling Photo Session, including 10 high-res edited photos (valued at RMB 4,750).
